So we've had a visitor hanging around lately, napping in the new garden beds I just made for future Dahlias, lazing around in the last of the summer sun. He’s beautiful, but he appears to have fleas, or at least wanted a really good scratch today! He let me get super close, within almost ten feet. I think he's taken over the old den near our driveway. (Don't worry, the chickens are safe in their fort!)
