Wow, what neat shelves! Don't look at mine! You'll have to do a video on Fire Cider. Sounds like something I should keep on my shelves. Have you tried Staghorn Sumac? You take the drupes and put them in a pitcher of cold water in the fridge. Let them steep in there overnight. It's really good. They call it Sumac-Ade. I guess it's really big in the mid-west. Natures own Kool-Ade.
Researching herbs for eye health now - retinal health in particular. The only fresh herb I have growing now is rosemary in my sun/bird room. All my citrus trees are blossoming in there and smell delightful! You and I do know how to make it through the winter!!! Your pantry apothecary is all kinds of awesome!!!
I love your video! I might have to do one. I love herbs! I love the teas and the medicinal qualities they have! My chickens love to eat my oregano and mint. ❤️
Thank You for this delightful video and post. Now we see that you are beautiful both inside AND outside ❤️
I have never tried the hemlock tea - but now I will. I have tried the white pine needle tea and I liked it.
So this is why the deer love to eat hemlock in the winter…a good source of nutrition for them….a little frustrating for hemlock tree lovers, I can’t plant baby hemlock trees (I have tried, same with balsam and arborvitae) as the deer will eat them before they have a chance to get tall enough to survive. But we have older ones here and there and I will try a cup of hemlock tea : )
